Short version: your files never leave your browser, and nothing loads without your say-so.
What we collect
Hot Web Tools does not collect, receive, or store the content you put into any tool. Files and text you open in a tool are processed entirely inside your browser and are never transmitted to us.
With your consent we use Google Analytics to count page views and Google AdSense to show advertising. Both may set cookies and process your IP address. Without your consent, neither script loads at all.
What is stored on your device
We store four things in your browser’s local storage: your theme preference, your favourite tools, your recently used tools, and your cookie choices. These never leave your device and we cannot read them.
You can clear them at any time by clearing site data in your browser.
Contact form
If you use the contact form, your name, email address, and message are sent to Web3Forms, which forwards them to us by email. We use that information only to reply to you.
Your rights
You can withdraw your cookie consent at any time from the cookie policy page, which will stop analytics and advertising scripts from loading on your next page view.
If you have asked us a question by email and want that correspondence deleted, contact us and we will remove it.
